About Mount Union Area School District
A public school district covering roughly 151 square miles across Huntingdon and Mifflin Counties, Pennsylvania — home to nine communities and one Trojan family.
The Mount Union Area School District includes all of Mount Union Borough, Mapleton Borough, Shirley Township, and Union Township in Huntingdon County, along with Kistler Borough, Newton Hamilton Borough, and Wayne Township in Mifflin County.

Our small, close-knit district covers a lot of ground — more than 150 square miles across Huntingdon and Mifflin Counties — but our focus stays the same in every building: knowing every student by name and giving them what they need to succeed.
