Program History

Program Records

436–575–32

All-time record, 1912–2025 (114 seasons on file). The program's best stretch was 1981–1993, which included the 1993 team's 10-1 season — the best single-season record on file — and a 12-game winning streak that ran from August to November 2014.

Playoffs: 5–13

Mount Union has reached the PIAA District 6 championship game three times — 1992, 1993, and 2014 — finishing as runner-up each time, to Forest Hills (1992, 1993) and Tyrone (2014). The Trojans have made 18 playoff appearances since 1989, most recently in 2024.

Huntingdon: 26–75–4

The Trojans' oldest and most-played rivalry has been lopsided in the Bearcats' favor. Mount Union has fared much better against Tussey Mountain (41–9–1 all-time) and West Branch (27–11).
