September Board Meetings
The Mount Union Area Board of Education will hold a Workshop on Monday, Sept. 14 at 6:30 p.m. and a Regular Board Meeting on Monday, Sept. 21 at 7:00 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Virtual Academy, 706 North Shaver Street — moved from the usual Jr./Sr. High School Library location for this month. A Zoom link for the regular meeting will be posted to the district website beforehand; agenda items are due to the District Office by Sept. 8. See Keystone Agenda for the full agenda.
Dual Enrollment Scholarships Now Available
Dual Enrollment Scholarships are now available for eligible Pennsylvania high school students, awarded first-come, first-served while funds last. Eligible students must live in Pennsylvania, be participating in a dual enrollment program, and belong to a household with adjusted gross income up to $116,000 (plus $20,400 per dependent). Apply online at eitcnow.org/de with a copy of the 2025 federal 1040 showing filers, dependents, and adjusted gross income. Questions: applicant@commonwealthcharitable.org.

District Calendar
Browse by month, week, or a simple upcoming list, then filter to just one building or to athletics. Events can be added for any building — contact the District Office to have something included.
District-wide dates are cross-checked against muasd.org's own live events calendar as well as the MUASD 2026–2027 Board-approved calendar (approved June 22, 2026); the complete color-coded document — instructional-day totals, testing windows, and the weather make-up policy — is in the official PDF. As of this update, muasd.org has individually posted events only through winter break — spring 2027 dates (Act 80/Data Days, February and April vacations, the PSSA/Keystone testing window, and the last day of school) come from the board-approved PDF and will be confirmed against muasd.org as the district adds them. Athletics dates reflect the published fall home-game schedule and are subject to change for weather or opponent rescheduling — confirm with the Athletic Office or mountunion.bigteams.com before travel.
