What this website collects, how it is used, and how student privacy laws apply.
Scope of this notice
This notice covers only this public website (this domain). It does not cover the district's internal systems — such as PowerSchool, ParentSquare, ClassLink, Microsoft 365, or Destiny Library — which are linked from this site but operated separately, each under its own privacy and data-handling terms.
What this site collects
This is a static, informational website. It does not have a login, does not run a database, and does not include any web forms that submit personal information to a server. Specifically:
- No account or login data is collected by this site.
- No tracking or analytics scripts (such as Google Analytics or advertising pixels) are embedded in this site.
- No cookies are set by this site itself.
- The on-site search box works entirely in your browser, comparing your search terms against a page index that is downloaded once; search terms are never sent to a server.
- "Contact" and "Employment" links on this site open your email application via
mailto:links, or point to a phone number or physical address — any information you choose to send that way goes directly to district staff, the same as any other email or phone call, and is not collected by this website.
Third-party resources loaded by this site
To render page text, this site loads web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Loading any web resource necessarily shares basic connection information (such as your IP address) with that provider, subject to Google's privacy policy. No other third-party scripts are embedded in this site's pages.
Several utility-bar and navigation links (PowerSchool, ParentSquare, ClassLink, Microsoft 365, Destiny Library, and the district's board-meeting/agenda and policy platforms) take you to separate, district-affiliated or vendor-operated systems. Those systems may use cookies, accounts, and their own data collection, governed by their own privacy notices, not this one.
Student privacy (FERPA & PPRA)
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA) govern how the district handles student education records and certain surveys. This public website does not publish individually identifiable student education records. Where student names or photos appear (for example, athletics rosters, honor roll, or student activity recognition), the district follows its directory-information and media-release practices under FERPA; families may opt out of directory-information disclosure by contacting the district office.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for parents, guardians, staff, and community members seeking district information. It is not directed at collecting personal information from children, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from any visitor through this website.

This notice may be updated as the site's proposed redesign moves through Board review. The "last reviewed" date below reflects the most recent revision.
