Music at Mount Union
A K–12 music program built around two things: strong fundamentals and performing together — from a third grader's first try-out kit to the Junior/Senior High stage.
Band & Chorus, Kindergarten Through Grade 12
Mount Union's music program starts early: chorus for elementary students and a wind-instrument "try-out kit" for 3rd graders curious about band. Students who join elementary band or chorus in 4th and 5th grade carry that foundation forward into the Junior/Senior High band and choir programs.
Fifth grade band members even get to join the High School Marching Band for select performances — a first taste of playing alongside the older students before they move up.

Our Fight Song
Like hundreds of schools across the country, Mount Union sings its fight song to the tune of "On, Wisconsin!" (William T. Purdy, 1909 — public domain), with our own Trojan words in place of the original lyrics.
Melody: "On, Wisconsin!" (W.T. Purdy, 1909) — simplified reference notation, not an official band arrangement.
